Punto and Branca
Jorge Vacca was born in Buenos Aires, in the Caballito neighborhood. He currently resides in Milan, Italy, since the late 1980s. He has been a Tango DJ since 2000, having worked alongside Maestro Félix Picherna, who, in an interview with “El Tangauta” magazine, declared Punto y Branca his heir. He has participated in the most important events, festivals, and marathons around the world, accumulating more than 5,000 tango nights. He is the winner of the “Premios Internacionales Tango” as Best International DJ 2019 (the Oscars of tango) and organizes (along with Ariadna Naveira, Fernando Sanchez, and Alevtina Silaeva) the EH! Milan Tango Festival. Rolling Stone magazine wrote about him: “Punto y Branca” (Jorge Vacca) is one of the most popular and beloved tango DJs in the world. He began his career in the best milongas and has been playing tango for more than 19 years. He has an incredible ability to sense the mood of the people on the dance floor and bring the tango atmosphere to the highest level.”
Gastón Godoy
He has over 15 years of experience as a tango music DJ, first using a computer and currently using vinyl records. He has been involved in the world of computer music for over 15 years, participating in festivals and events in Spain and the rest of Europe. He possesses a unique talent for getting the dance floor moving with his musical selection.
Vivi La Falce
Professional DJ from Buenos Aires since 2001. She has worked consistently for 24 years in renowned milongas in Buenos Aires such as Lo de Celia, Salón Canning, El Arranque, Lujos, Obelisco Tango, Abasto Hotel, among others. She was the Official DJ of the TangoBA Championship and Festival for six years, selecting the music for the competition, and has worked at events such as the Gran Milonga Nacional de Av de Mayo and the annual Milonga at the French Embassy. She has worked for Costa Cruises since 2013, serving as the Official DJ of the only tango dance floor at “Danzando a Bordo,” the world’s most important dance event held on themed cruise ships. Since 2009, she has traveled the world providing music for milongas, milonguero gatherings, festivals, marathons, and giving DJ training seminars, also promoting their culture and revaluing the role of the professional DJ.
Pepa Palazón
As a TDJ, she has provided music in both Europe and Argentina. In Buenos Aires, at her own milonga (Viva la Pepa Milonga) and at the main milongas in Buenos Aires, such as Villa Malcolm, El Beso, El Tábano, La Firulana, etc. She has also performed at important international festivals in Buenos Aires, such as the Mujercitas Tango Festival or the Lady’s Tango Festival, based in Buenos Aires. In Europe, she has provided music at renowned international festivals such as the Oster Tango Festival (Basel, Switzerland) or the HeidelBerg Tango Marathon (Germany), and has provided music at the main milongas in London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Verona, Lisbon, Frankfurt, Grenoble, Vienna, Athens, etc. Her distinctive use of musical energy is full of nuances and contrasts, generating an atmosphere of total enjoyment for both the dancer and the listener. A party is guaranteed with her on the decks.
